The word is getting out...#4 is on the way!
I had my first doc appt yesterday morning. I usually end up having an ultrasound done with all the kids as she can never hear the heart beat (I'll spare you all the reasons). With the others, the baby was like a little kidney bean. This baby - NOPE! I could see a full profile - my FAVORITE! I LOVE being able to see the little nose! The hand was waving, and legs were just a kicking away. Very surreal. I was not expecting that. To be honest, it kind of freaked me out that I was way further along than I had thought, but I was only due a few days sooner than I had calculated.
I told Dirk today that I had a baby in my belly (I didn't before this time bcuz he's in school and I didn't want him to blab it all over quite yet). He looked at me all confused and asked me, "When are you going to the doctor?" I said, "Not until after Mommy's birthday." "Oh," he replied, relieved. I'm pretty sure he was thinking I should be all "nice and fat" already! lol
