4 years old!We're making cupcakes with SpongeBob liners and colored frosting. Then we'll head over to Applebee's where Derrick said, "Mommy's Applebee's friends are going to sing Happy Birthday to me!" He's excited. He wants his presents too :o)
Gran and Grandpa called and told him that they mailed his present. So Derrick ran to the front door and looked out on our porch to the mailbox. However, we have all our boxes from previous shipments out there, and his eyes got HUGE! He asked Gran "Is the REALLY big one my birthday present?!?"
I'll post more pics of the day later today or tomorrow, but here is one picture from each year so far :o)
Ok, we went to Applebee's this afternoon. Derrick got a kick out of them singing to him. He also couldn't stand waiting to open his presents. Once he opened them up, he put them in a box and was heading for the door, saying, "We're going home now so I can watch my new Diego movie." We hadn't even received our food yet :o) He now has all four Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Splinter and Shredder. Every person he saw he made sure to tell them it was his birthday today. He was so excited. Too cute.
