Potty Time!

Mommy got called into school this afternoon, so Daddy had to "watch" us. I think he just took a nap on the chair :o) But when Mommy came home, she looked in my potty chair and asked Daddy if he helped me go potty. He didn't! I went ALL BY MYSELF!

But two hours later I peed all over the toy room floor. Hey, I'm 50/50. But I think I might have this down by the end of the weekend. Mommy really doesn't want to buy any more diapers! And I want to be a big girl.

OH! I had to take a break from writing. I sat on my potty chair, then I screamed with excitement for Mommy! Mommy came to look in my potty chair, I think she thought I put a toy or something in there - but I went poopy! Now I get a WHOLE BUNCH of jelly beans as a treat! I'm a big girl now! I'll have to keep practicing this. I like not being a baby any more!

Almost a Big Girl!

Mommy is helping me be a big girl! I'm learning how to go potty in my potty chair. I have gone 2 times now. I had 2 accidents this morning before I kind of understood what Mommy wants me to do. I get cookies when I go potty in my potty chair!!! YUMMY! I love cookies. I sat on my potty for 30 minutes before I went potty, because I knew I'd get a cookie! Aren't I goofy? Well, I call them "cockies" - everyone seems to think that's kinda funny. I don't get it. Maybe when I'm bigger. Mommy told me - NO MORE DIAPERS! Well, I get them at naptime and bedtime. But that's it. And as soon as I wake up, I have to run to the potty before I go in my panties. I have pretty My Little Pony panties. I like horsies. I also have some with flowers on them, they are pretty, but I like my Pony ones better. Dirkie is helping me learn too. He's a good helper. Well, I'll keep you updated on my progress!

Cookies

We had a blast making cookies! Evie and Derrick did great adding the "feathers" to the turkeys! Evie was cute - counting up to seven!!! Each turkey needed 7 "feathers" - I couldn't believe she did it! I can thank Derrick for that, he likes to count with her. Thanks, Dirkie!

Lil' Hunter

Can I go hunting too, Mommy? See, I'm all ready to go. I'll be a good girl. I won't shoot anything. Deer are too cute. I just want to see Bambi. What if I change hats, then can I go?

No Smiling

At what age will my kids smile, at the same time, for a picture??????? :o)

Make-up

Look at what GG and I did! GG was putting on her make-up and I, of course, wanted some too! I like make-up. Aren't I a cutie pie?

Suckers or Chocolate? Chocolate or Suckers?

For Derrick, chocolate or suckers isn't the question. It's whether to eat this sucker, or that one?

I'm thinking Evie's favorite is the chocolate. But the sucker might still win out...

The already opened sucker for Derrick! And BOTH the sucker and cookie for Evie!

Why am I not surprised???

Singing

My favorite thing to do is sing! Dirkie will sing with me sometimes. But I like it when Mommy puts in a CD for me to sing to. Or to read a book to me and sing. I like the book/song Clementine. I got the tune down, but only a few words, like "Oh my darling, oh my darling, (and then I yell really loud and high) OH MY DARLING (Clem)ENTINE!

Mommy also put a bunch of rice, dried beans and macaroni noodles in a bucket for Dirkie to drive his cars in. I like to play in it too, when Dirkie lets me.

Baby Powder

So I haven't learned too much about not touching Mommy's laundry stuff. Today, I went thru her box of stuff again and grabbed the baby powder. I needed to have something to run my trucks and trains thru. So I dumbed the ENTIRE bottle of baby powder on my table down in my toy room. I played with it ALL day long! It was soooo much fun. I made a huge mess, I tried my best to keep it on the table, but a bunch ended up on the floor and all over our toys. But it does smell pretty down there!

Big Trouble

I got in super big trouble today. Mommy and Daddy were talking in the living room and Eve and I were downstairs playing. Then Mommy and Daddy heard a spraying sound. Mommy came to check on us right away and I couldn't get the can of laundry stuff out of my hand fast enough. She caught me. Mommy put it up high, then told me I was not to go near the laundry stuff. I said OK. But two minutes later, I climbed up to get it, and sprayed it right in Evie's eyes. She cried. Mommy and Daddy had to flush her eyes with cold water. Evie did NOT like that one bit. I had to go to my room for the rest of the night. I was not happy either. I kept trying to get out of bed, but Daddy would come upstairs. That's not a good thing when I'm in a "time out" and Daddy comes upstairs.

Talking Talking Talking

It's me, Evie! I'm talking up a storm! I like to talk on the phone with Gran and G. And sometimes Mommy will call me from another phone, and we'll talk while we're looking at each other. She's goofy! I like to talk, but now that I'm learning more words, I get frustrated and throw fits again. I have to be careful, Mommy tries to videotape me doing that. And I don't want her to.

I had a rough day today. I was pretty crabby. I just wanted to cuddle with Mommy all day. I keep scratching my ear and I don't like to lay down. I hope I don't have an ear infection.

G also told Mommy that I went potty on G's toilet this weekend! Mommy used up my last diaper today. Uh oh. I wonder if I have to wear my panties with horsies on them. They are really pretty, but I didn't like them a few weeks ago. Speaking of horsies, I like to sit on Zale, grab his collar and pretend I'm riding a horsie! I like Zale. And my kitty cat too. Ok, good night!

Weekend Getaway

Ryan and I had an incredible weekend! We had so much fun. This is by far the best weekend we've ever had. For those of you who don't know - we went to Council Bluffs, IA (Omaha area) for a business conference. They had two of the best business speakers we've heard yet there. We laughed, we cried, we learned. I can't begin to describe it. Best part is the drive - ROAD TRIP! We have so much fun with our friends going down. Then staying in the hotel room, man we have some laughs. Nothing like the topics that pop up at 2am! And it was such a nice trip in our new vehicle. The Expedition has so much room! Nate can sit behind Ryan without any problems! We had a blast singing to Nate when he got a cramp in his leg and we had to pull over for him to walk it off. We are such fabulous singers. My motto - If you can't sing, sing LOUD! :o)

The kids are having a great time at G and Papa's house. I talked to Mom and she said they did well, busy, but well :o) They are finally getting to an age that they can occupy both of themselves without our help - which is suuuuuuch a stress reliever for me :o) Dad and Scott went hunting, so I'll post those pics here sometime tomorrow I'm sure. We are headed into a quick meeting yet tonight, then going uptown for some wings. I'm so excited - no kids, no babysitter to pay for, NO DOG! It will be a great end to a fantastic weekend.

Don't forget me!

I want to write too! I'll make sure you don't forget about me! My favorite toy right now is the box Evie's car seat came in! We crawl around in it until it breaks, then Daddy throws it away. But it's really fun!

I've been waking up at 5-530am every day since the time change. Mommy and Daddy try their hardest to go back to sleep, but when I wake up, I want to play toys and there's no changing my mind! But today I was a good boy and just stayed in Mommy and Daddy's bed until Mommy left this morning. Then I was ready to go!

I also like our new truck. Marcie's car is nice too, but I like the big black truck! And there is a CD player in it, so Daddy put some music in. I had to remind Mommy to turn it up so I could sing to it.

(Derrick was singing - it was so cute! He would hear one word, then sing only that word thru the next line, hear another word, sing only that word thru the next line - very cute! And he remembered the tune - so that was good! His favorite song to sing to is 500 Miles or whatever it's called - all he sings is "Be the Man...Be the Man...")

Me, too! Me, too!

I want to write a Blog, too! It's me, Evie. I want to do everything Mommy does. I think it starts to annoy her, but I'm cute, so she'll get over it :o)

Gran gave me a new video, ok it's Dirkie's too. It has Dora on it and Blues Clues! I love Dora. I call her "Dah". I'm still working on all my words, but I'm getting much better at it. Especially when Mommy and Daddy practice with me. I love to jabber. But I get frustrated when I can't say what I want to say. I do love to sing tho! Mommy has to sing the Blues Clues song to me every time I go to bed. "We are going to play Blues Clues, 'cuz it's a really great game. Yah!" :o)

I also LOVE LOVE LOVE horsies! Except I call them "Nees." Bcuz that's what they say. I sit on my puppy, Zale, and play horsie all they time! He lets me, but when Dirkie jumps on him, that doesn't go over so well :o)

New Blog

Well, I decided to try a Blog instead of the Babysite. I'm hoping it will be easier for me, and for y ou to view. So, you should be able to see all the pics without having to click on each one. However, until I figure it all out, if you click on the pic, it will make it HUGE :o) Sorry!

Well, I've worked the last two days and then today. I love subbing! And it's a much needed time for myself away from the kids. Ryan has stayed home with them the last few days, however I think he needs a break to sleep. He's so good with the kids, but just like me, when you don't get enough sleep, they can wear you down pretty good.

I'll be meeting Mom up in the cities today - the kids are off to G and Papa's house for the weekend! They are really looking forward to this. They love it there.

Ryan and I are headed to Council Bluffs, IA - Omaha area. We're looking forward to our weekend! And driving our new truck :o) It's so nice having it. Ryan can finally drive now that he fits! So I don't have to do all the driving!

Mom and Dad are also giving us their old digital camera until we get a new one - so after this weekend - look for new pics!
